Lex-Icon Blog Project Post 6: John M. Bennett

“The title of my piece is "Pied le coin se noircit" and it is from my forthcoming book of shaped poems, LA CHAIR DU CENOTE, (Marseille: éditions Fidel Anthelme X).  This piece is an inversion of the pyramid theme/image which dominates that book, so that it forms what looks like a martini drink.  I believe that all poems use visual, oral, and textual processes, and this work is an example of that.”--John M. Bennett
