Lex-Icon Blog Project 48 : David Kelly

Michael Steven Bublé

“Using techniques I would usually save for producing visual art comes Michael Steven Bublé. I wanted it to be read in as many ways as possible but also to be made and presented simplistically. One page of text on papier calque, one page on plain white, scrambled text, backround being as foreground, foreground being as backround. A grande desire for the demise of something, an indolent acknowledgement of the demise.”-- David Kelly

BIO:
David Kelly is a London-based artist currently stamping tickets and analysing ancient Egyptian Gibbon sculptures at the British Museum for money. Often construed as a poet translating ideas only to the visual mediums, occasionally in reverse. Please also see his blog at: http://erkembode.wordpress.com/
